Why A GAD

At Stark Trumbull Area REALTORS ® we believe that advocacy begins with you. It is our goal to provide opportunities for you to engage with regional stakeholders and elected officials. We do this through educational events in addition to our fundraising efforts through RPAC.

Vote, Act, and Invest is more than just a slogan but a critical piece of the real estate industry and essential function of the Board of Realtors. This is why we have invested significant resources into our Legislative Affairs Committee and RPAC Committees and have a full-time Government Affairs Director. We are one of only six local boards to have this position in the State. Our Government Affairs Director (GAD), Brook Harless, brings over a decade of public policy and political experience. Working in tandem with our STAR committee members she works to promote policy that protects private property rights and the American Dream of homeownership.
